General terms and conditions of business

By booking the accommodation “Fernblick – Holiday Apartment with Bastei View”, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


1. Booking and Payment

The accommodation price for your stay must be paid in full in advance. Payment is made by invoice. After submitting your booking, you will receive an invoice with all payment details.

The advance payment does not include:

  • the legally required tourist tax
  • costs for a parking permit
  • where applicable, costs for additional child equipment (e.g. travel cot, high chair).

These costs will be charged separately before arrival and are payable by invoice. You will be informed of the exact amount in good time before your stay.

Important notes:

  • Your booking becomes binding only after receipt of the accommodation payment.
  • The invoice amount must be paid within the payment period stated on the invoice.
  • No additional payment fees apply.
  • The cancellation policy outlined below applies.

For bookings made via Airbnb or Booking.com, the payment terms shown on those platforms apply.


2. Cancellation and Refund

Cancellations made up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge. The accommodation price already paid will be fully refunded. Cancellations made within 14 days before arrival are non-refundable.

For bookings made via Airbnb or Booking.com, the cancellation policies shown on those platforms apply.


3. Right of Withdrawal

There is no right of withdrawal, as this contract concerns accommodation services provided for a specific date in accordance with Section 312g (2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB).

This exclusion of the right of withdrawal applies to direct bookings made via our website. For bookings made via Airbnb or Booking.com, the consumer and withdrawal regulations specified on those platforms apply.


4. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in is from 4:00 PM, check-out is by 11:00 AM, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Early check-in and/or late check-out may be possible upon request and subject to availability.


5. Guest Conduct

Please treat the apartment and the neighbourhood with respect so that future guests can also enjoy their stay.

Parties, events, excessive noise, drugs or illegal behaviour, as well as unregistered guests, are not permitted. Smoking, wearing outdoor shoes, and keeping pets inside the apartment are not allowed (except registered assistance animals). In the event of a violation, any actual additional cleaning or damage costs incurred may be charged.


6. Damage and Liability

Guests are responsible for any damage or loss caused during their stay. The host accepts no liability for lost or damaged personal belongings. Guests are responsible for their own safety during their stay.


7. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can view our full privacy policy on our website.


8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
